Kaohsiung’s Keziliao Harbor to host rock music festival this Friday (2014/02/25)

Kaohsiung’s Keziliao Harbor has traditionally been known for its seafood. But this Friday the area will receive an extra boost when a special concert funded by local residents takes place for the second year in a row.

Under the hot sun, staff are busy aboard this 40-ton abandoned boat which will serve as a backdrop for a rock and roll stage on Friday.

With this music and culture we hope to enhance local tourism and encourage our children to stay here.

While this area is known for its seafood, it’s taking this music concert quite seriously. It produced a short video to promote the event and encourage visitors to come and enjoy the music as well as the ocean breeze.

Keziliao Harbor is busy each afternoon with the auction of fresh fish. Now that it is hosting a rock concert, the area is being infused with a new spirit of youthful vitality.

蚵寮好搖滾

高雄市的蚵仔寮，以海鮮漁貨聞名全台，不過現在蚵仔寮也加入了音樂的元素，即將在28號登場的蚵仔寮音樂會，是由在地居民自掏腰包主辦，今年是第二次舉辦。

蚵仔寮居民自發性舉辦的搖滾音樂會，今年是第二屆。

以漁業產業為主的蚵仔寮，舉辦音樂會一點都不馬虎，甚至還拍攝了行銷短片，號召更多人來聽音樂、吹海風。

高雄市的蚵仔寮每天一到中午的漁貨拍賣時間，總是人聲鼎沸，現在因為居民舉辦搖滾音樂會，讓這純樸的地方，頓時年輕起來，也增加蚵仔寮本身亮度。
