Songkran Festival in New Taipei City (2014/04/13)
The annual Songkran Water Festival took place today in New Taipei City’s Chungho. Both young and old took to the streets with water guns and plastic wash basins to enjoy Southeast Asian New Year celebrations.
Crowds also swarmed nearby stores, with many offering traditional Southeast Asian food. Today it was quite obvious that Songkran’s water ritual was bringing wealth to businesses in the area.

一年一度的新北市潑水節今天在中和舉行。大小朋友齊聚街頭，個個手拿臉盆、水槍，體驗南洋新年潑水節。
附近店家人潮擠爆，忙著烹調各式各樣的南洋美食，在潑水節這天，生意倍增賺進潑水財。
