Did you know that Spanish is the second most widely-spoken language on Earth today? Adding Spanish to your language repertoire is a wise decision as it will allow you to communicate with approximately 320 million people across the globe.  Much of Europe and Latin America use Spanish as their primary language. Even in the United States Spanish is widely used in some areas.  You can notice this anywhere simply by picking up a package and looking at the directions which often include both English and Spanish directions.

Emerging Economic and Political Powerhouse 
It may still be too early to tell, but Latin America may very well become the next European Union. The area has much to offer including vast natural resources as well as untouched human resources.  It would be unwise to underestimate Latin America to development. If you choose to learn Spanish you will only be doing yourself a favor.
