According to a report released by Oxfam, the US, China, Japan, Germany, France and the UK, which together make up 56.6% of global GDP, between them host just 2.1 million refugees: 8.9% of the world’s total.

根據「樂施會」公布的報告，美國、中國、日本、德國、法國和英國的國內生產毛額（GDP），共佔全球的56.6%，卻僅收容210萬名難民，約為全球總數的8.9%。

Of these 2.1 million people, roughly a third is hosted by Germany, while the remaining 1.4 million are split between the other five countries. The UK hosts less than two hundred thousand refugees, a figure Oxfam GB chief executive, Mark Goldring, has called shameful.

在這210萬人中，約3分之1是由德國收容，剩餘140萬人則分散於另外5國。英國庇護的難民數甚至低於20萬人，這個數字讓樂施會的英籍執行長戈德林直呼可恥。

In contrast, more than half of the world’s refugees – almost 12 million people – live in Jordan, Turkey, Palestine, Pakistan, Lebanon and South Africa, despite the fact that these places make up less than 2% of the world’s economy.

相反地，全球難民中有超過一半的近120萬人，住在約旦、土耳其、巴勒斯坦、巴基斯坦、黎巴嫩和南非，儘管這些國家的經濟產值僅佔全球不到2%。

Oxfam is calling on governments to host more refugees and to do more to help poorer countries which provide shelter to the majority of the world’s refugees. "This is one of the greatest challenges of our time yet poorer countries, and poorer people, are left to shoulder the responsibility."

樂施會呼籲各國政府收容更多難民，並對收容全球多數難民的國家伸出援手。「這是我們這個時代最嚴峻的挑戰之一，卻只讓貧窮的國家和人民來承擔這個責任。」
