June Smith

January 23, 1935 – March 12, 2022

After a long and happy life, June Smith passed away peacefully on March 12, 2022, aged 87. She is survived by her two sons, Joseph and Mark, her daughter, Sally, and seven grandchildren.

June was born in Greentown in 1935. As a girl, she loved nature and spent many hours outdoors climbing trees and collecting flowers. As an adult, she joined the Greentown Parks Department. She spent her life working hard to make sure Greentown had many natural spaces for everyone to enjoy. It was at the Parks Department that she met Rob, who later became her loving husband.

June loved her family deeply. Her favorite times of year were holidays, when her children and grandchildren would come home and celebrate together. She took enormous pleasure in cooking for the whole family, and her delicious meals will be sorely missed by all who tasted her wonderful cooking. Most of all, she enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren, teaching them to cook and showing them love.

A funeral will be held for June at the Adam's Street Church on Thursday, March 24, 2022 at 1 p.m. All who knew and loved her are welcome to join the family in celebrating her life.

瓊深愛著她的家人，一年中她最喜歡的日子就是佳節假日，因為她的兒女跟孫子、孫女都會回家跟她一起過節。為全家人煮菜做飯令她樂此不疲，凡是品嚐過她精湛料理的人，都會深深地懷念她做的美食佳餚。最讓她開心的，就是跟孫子孫女們陪伴相處，教他們做飯並表達對他們的關愛。

瓊的喪禮茲訂於2022年3月24日（週四）下午1點，地點於亞當街教會。歡迎所有喜愛瓊的親朋好友撥空蒞臨，與瓊的家屬一起緬懷她的一生。
