Student crews lauded for keeping the peace at rally (2014/03/31)
Praise has been widespread for the peaceful nature of Sunday’s rally. In part this was due to student crews who ended the rally in the early evening and helped keep the day’s proceedings under control.
Student security leaders announce that demonstrators should leave the area and take any trash with them. On the street, student sanitation crews fill trash bags. They thank on-looking police officers.
Within an hour of Sunday’s rally ending, the black-shirted protesters were gone and the streets were clean. Ang Li, a writer at the protest, was filled with praise.

The quality of our citizens shows that Taiwan will enjoy long success.
Students divided into groups to share responsibilities. Besides the sanitation and security crews, there were logistical teams that handled donations and PR reps who handled press releases. Together, they kept the rally under tight control.
高水準學運
昨天330大遊行，數十萬黑衫軍聚集在凱道，表達心聲，而活動7點45結束後，在短短一個小時內，大批群眾就全數退去，地上更是不見垃圾，展現出台灣學生，高水準的民主素養。
拿著大聲公，糾察隊學生一邊疏散群眾，一邊提醒不要亂丟垃圾。馬路上，清潔組學生，拿著垃圾袋忙著整理環境，還不忘向旁邊的警察，鞠躬致謝。
活動結束後短短一個小時內，黑衫大軍全數清空，街頭地上，更是清潔溜溜，讓到場參加活動的知名作家李昂，直誇這群台灣大學生。

這次反服貿活動，學生們分工合作，除了有資源回收的清潔組、分類愛心物資的物資組、維護秩序的糾察組、發布新聞的媒體組，再加上週日遊行活動，展現出高度自律性。
