Taiwanese Tandem
The Baltimore Orioles 21-year-old pitcher Lin Yi-hsiang has been in Florida spring training with fellow countryman Chen Wei-yin. Both are lefties, and Lin says he has learned a lot under the guidance of Chen. Lin’s goals this year are to make it out of Class A Short Season and play for Taiwan at the Asian Games.

Wang Chien-ming to Minors
The Cincinnati Reds announced their second roster cut this spring, with three pitchers and a fielder being sent to the minors. Wang Chien-ming was among this group, and he is expected to begin the season in Triple A. Wang’s record in spring training included three appearances as a reliever with one win, one loss and an ERA of 3.86. 

Rockies Get to Wang Wei-chung
Left-handed pitcher Wang Wei-chung was given his first start for the Milwaukee Brewers on Thursday. The 21-year-old had entered the game not allowing a run or walk in 8 1/3 innings this spring, but the Colorado Rockies quickly got to him. Wang gave up three runs over 2 2/3 innings, including a home run.

偉殷教逸翔
金鶯21歲小將林逸翔，跟陳偉殷同樣都是左投，由於與陳偉殷一起在佛羅里達春訓，也受到前輩親自傳授經驗，林逸翔表示，有了陳偉殷等人的指導，讓他進步相當大，今年的目標除了從短期1A出發外，還想為中華隊打亞運。

王建民下放
辛辛那提紅人隊今天公佈春訓第二波下放名單，一共有三名投手與一位野手，我國的王建民也在其中，今年確定從3A小聯盟展開新球季。王建民總計在熱身賽中出賽3場，戰績1勝1敗、防禦率3.86。

I-王維中先發
大聯盟春訓以來，出賽8.1局而無失分、也沒有投出任何保送的王維中，今天首度以釀酒人投手的身分擔任先發，但這回被落磯壞了他先前的記錄，王維中主投2.2局失掉3分，其中包括一發全壘打。
