Valentine’s Day Prayer (2014/02/09)

Valentine's Day will soon be here and many single men and women will be praying to Yue Lao, “God of Marriage and Love” at Dihua Street’s Xia-Hai City God Temple. This year is special as Yue Lao will be making a trip to Japan on Valentine’s Day to aid everyone’s matchmaking prayers. 

Temple authorities say local citizens shouldn’t be worried about Yue Lao’s trip to Japan, as the main deity image will remain in Taiwan during the holiday and will be available to all devotees while a smaller likeness of the god will be undertaking the trip to Japan. 

月老要出國

情人節快到了，許多沒有情人的單身男女，都會跑到迪化街著名的霞海城隍廟，拜拜月下老人，在情人節當天要到日本幫信徒牽紅線。


不過廟方表示，台灣民眾不用擔心拜不到月老，因為這次出國的是月老分靈，神像本尊還是會留在台灣為大家服務。
