第二十屆的APEC會議年會9月2日至9日在海參崴舉行，今年還是由國民黨榮譽主席連戰代表馬總統出席經濟領袖會議9月8日、9日的領袖會議

馬總統上午也特地接見代表團，強調希望藉由參加APEC會議，讓台美TIFA早日恢復協商，掃除產業在國際競爭上的障礙

The Asia-Pacific Economic Cooperation, or APEC, will hold its 20th summit from Sept. 2 to 9 in Vladivostok, Russia. As in previous years, KMT honorary chairman Lien Chan will serve as President Ma Ying-jeou’s envoy to the leaders’ meeting on the eighth and ninth.

This morning the president met members of the Taiwan delegation. He told them a priority is an early return to talks with the United States for a trade and investment framework agreement.
