Major league teams in the United States have begun playing exhibition games. Here are some highlights from Wednesday’s action. 

Kershaw on the Mound

The Los Angeles Dodgers opened their exhibition season against the Arizona Diamondbacks. In something of a surprise, Clayton Kershaw started, and was hit hard, giving up three runs on five hits in two innings. The Dodgers lost 4-1.

Sparkling Plays

In the Oakland A’s exhibition opener against the San Francisco Giants, outfielder Josh Reddick was in mid-season form. Not once but twice he climbed the right-field fence to take home runs away from Michael Morse, helping Oakland to a 10-5 victory. 

Taiwanese in Action

The first Taiwanese player to see action this spring was Cleveland Indians reliever Lee Chen-chang. Lee entered the game against the Cincinnati Reds in the sixth with two on and two out and got a strike out to end the threat. But in the seventh, after retiring the first two hitters he faced, Lee gave up a walk and a home run. The Indians lost to the Reds, 8-3.

海外賽暖身 

道奇今天首戰響尾蛇，沒想到道奇派出的賽揚王牌柯蕭，今天初登板就遭到重擊，柯蕭主投兩局就被敲出五支安打失三分，終場道奇就1:4不敵響尾蛇。

熱身賽神接

運動家外野手瑞迪克，在面對巨人的比賽中，出現驚人守備表現，兩度躍上右外野高牆，沒收掉已經飛出牆外的全壘打球，打擊的苦主，都是麥可摩斯。運動家最後以10比5擊敗巨人。


振昌熱身賽

熱身賽首位出場的台將，印地安人隊的李振昌，在與紅人隊的比賽中，六局上半登板救援，雖然化解隊友留下的危機，但到了七局上半，卻在兩出局後突然找不到準星，結果挨了一發兩分砲，最終印地安人以3比8輸球。
