DPP Debates Integration (2014/03/09)

A lively topic in today’s DPP debate was how to potentially integrate candidates from outside the party in this year’s Taipei mayoral election.

Hsu Tain-tsair and Pasuya Yao feel the issue of integrating candidates from outside the party should be decided as quickly as possible. However, Annette Lu immediately took aim at a possible candidate for integration, Ko Wen-je, who she accuses of having a political DNA that conflicts with the DPP. Though Ko did not participate in today’s debate, he said it would be important for opposition parties to integrate resources, otherwise both he and the DPP would have little chance of winning the election.
