Taipei to make available 22 apartments in Nangang for short-term rental (2014/03/11)

In the ongoing battle against unaffordable property in Taipei, the city government will soon open a set of 22 public housing units in Nangang for short-term rental. The cost will be cheaper than comparable property and limited to young mid-to-low-income families. 

Excellent lighting and layout make this third phase public housing development on the Keelung River a desirable property. Twenty-two of these units, located in Nangang District, will be released for short-term rental. Tenants will be able to stay at least one year.

Monthly rent of NT$9,800 adds up to NT$10,800 when management fees are included. It is about half the rent of comparable, neighboring property. Tenants must meet strict qualifications relating to residency, family composition and income.

There is a courtyard, garden and place for children to play. The building is just 10 years old.

Compared to other property here, the advantage is cleaner, neater streets. The disadvantage is a lack of living amenities. Some areas aren’t yet developed.

Applications will be accepted until April 7. The Department of Urban Development says lots will be used to choose tenants if demand exceeds supply. Those lucky enough to be chosen are expected to be able to enter their new home in June.

高房價、低收入讓許多家庭喘不過氣,台北市政府現在針對台北市民,提供22戶南港基河三期的國宅,作為短期出租之用,27坪的空間,只要10800元就可以承租,相較於附近行情省了一半以上。

採光明亮,格局方正,這間就是位在台北市南港的基河三期國宅,政府打算釋出22戶,作為短期租屋,租期至少一年。

月租9800元,加管理費,一個月繳10800,比起附近租金行情,幾乎省一半以上,不過,想要申請,得符合承租資格,必須設籍在台北市,婚姻狀況和家庭年收入也有所限制。

看看社區內有中庭花園、兒童遊戲區,十年的屋齡,房子看起來還算新。

其實以這邊來說,它的優點就是街道乾淨整齊,缺點就是生活機能,有些地方確實還不成熟。

開放申請時間,直到四月七號為止,都發局表示,申請案如果超過配額,將會抽籤分配,而這一批出租國宅,預計六月就可以入住。
