Record Taiex Price (2014/04/28)
Optical lens manufacturer Largan Precision set a new Taiwan Stock Exchange record on Monday when it closed at NT$1,990.
Largan rose by NT$115, or over 6 percent, to break the index’s previous price record of NT$1,975, set a quarter of a century ago by Cathay Life. The Taiex rose by just over four-tenths of a percent to close at NT$8,809.

生產光學鏡頭及鏡片的大立光今天以1990元作收，改寫台股最高股價紀錄。
大立光今天大漲115元，漲幅達6.13%，打破25年前國泰前身「國壽」所寫下的1975元歷史最高紀錄。台股最終以上漲0.41%作收，收在8809元。
