Ferry Disaster Drills (2014/04/29)
In the wake of the deadly South Korea ferry accident, authorities in Taiwan will conduct disaster prevention drills on five Taiwanese ferries.
Today the first drill took place on a ferry operating between Suao and Hualien. Crew responded to a simulated disaster that included firefighting exercises and passenger instruction.

今天是由往返蘇澳和花蓮的「麗娜輪」打頭陣，船員模擬船上發生火災，該如何應變，除了滅火外，也得冷靜協助旅客穿上救生衣，並且蹲下來穩住身體重心，聽從船長指示移動到窗邊。
