Sunflower Movement plans to donate supplies and preserve artwork and banners (2014/04/08)

As students leave the Legislature, they will have to have to decide what to do with leftover supplies, posters and banners. Most items will be donated to charity while those with historical value will be preserved.

Twenty large boxes of milk toast were delivered to students opposed to the trade-in-services pact by courier long ago, and now the disposal of these foodstuffs and other items has become a sort of headache for students.

Another section of Qingdao East Road has a line of tents containing vast piles of sleeping bags and blankets along with hundreds of pairs of unused slippers. There are also boxes of donated water and foodstuffs. As the students prepare to withdraw from the Legislature, many are wondering what will be done with these items.

We are looking for a way to donate these supplies to groups in need or charities.

Students associated with the Sunflower Movement reassure everyone that after they withdraw from the Legislature, these unused items will be donated and will not go to waste.

Banners, signs and paintings which decorated the interior of the Legislature could become part of a historical digital archive.

An instructor at Academia Sinica contacted us with a request to preserve these items for history. We will remain in contact as we try to preserve all of this artwork.

Items such as large banners which hung from the walls of the Legislature or even paper messages and sketches represent the voice of students in the Sunflower Movement. They will be archived as a part of history.

物資怎處理

學運期間，不少民眾踴躍捐贈各項物資，通通都堆放在立法院外青島東路上的帳棚內，但兩天後，反黑箱服貿學生即將退場，學生代表決議，將這批數量龐大的愛心物資，全數捐贈給社福團體，另外張貼在牆上的海報以及畫作，也會送給中研院或國史館，保留珍藏。

20大箱鮮奶吐司，一早就用快遞，送到立院，指名給反服貿學生，卻也讓物資組人員，非常頭痛。

青島東路另一頭，這一整排帳棚，也有堆積成山的睡袋毛毯，上百雙全新拖鞋，整箱整箱的包裝水和食品，全是愛心物資，學運退潮後，這堆東西，該怎麼辦?

物資的話，我們會想辦法捐給需要單位團體，或者是公益團體等等。

反服貿學生證實，離開後，物資將全數慈善團體，不讓民眾愛心，白白浪費。

至於議場內的標語、畫作等，中研院有意保留，作為史料的數位典藏計畫。

牆上張貼著的大型海報，或是一張張的紙條留言，甚至是手繪創作，不單單是為學生們發聲，也會是這次太陽花學運的歷史紀錄。
